Origami

The container folds, the body moves. Inspired by the Japanese art of folding paper, Origami is a breath-taking spectacle that uses sections of a shipping container to create different shapes that form the stage for the daredevil acrobatics of Justine Bernachon. Origami was born of a collaboration between choreographer Satchie Noro and set designer and scenographer Silvain Ohl. Together, they transform a 12-metre container into an airborne and mobile stage and imbue with poetry and humanity this imposing object that has become a symbol of globalisation.
