Kazuma Tatsumi

Kazuma Tatsumi is a premier Shite-kata (lead actor) Noh performer of the Hosho School. The eldest son of master Manjiro Tatsumi and a graduate of Tokyo University of the Arts, he completed a prestigious live-in discipleship under the 20th Grand Master before launching his independent association, «Hoshu-kai,» in 2019. Highly active in global media, Tatsumi featured in the Noh scenes of the 18-time Emmy Award-winning series SHOGUN, portrayed Zeami on NHK television, and appeared in the NHK Taiga Drama Berabou. He is a member of The Nohgaku Performers’ Association.
