Natalie Carducci
Violinist Natalie Carducci is a passionate and versatile musician with a special interest in historical performance practices and performs internationally with varied ensembles such as Gli Incogniti, Sollazzo Ensemble, Tasto Solo, Los Elementos, Bach Collegium San Diego, Voices of Music (California), and the Britten-Pears Baroque Orchestra (England).
She is regularly invited to paricipate in festivals such as the International Festival of American Renaissance and Baroque Music (Bolivia), Festival de Torroella de Montgrí (Spain), the Utrecht Early Music Festival (Netherlands), AMUZ (Belgium), and the Berkeley Festival and Exhibition (California). She is a founding member of Concerto Ripiglino (Basel), first-prize winners at the 2017 H.I.F. Biber Competition in Austria, and Infermi d'Amore.
Natalie received her Masters degree at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with Ian Swensen as well as a Masters in early music with Amandine Beyer at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland. At the moment, she enjoys playing her Cretan lyra and exploring the art of makam.
