USQUARE
Usquare has transformed the former Ixelles Barracks into a vibrant urban laboratory where creativity, innovation, and sustainability come together. Driven by a collaborative spirit, this unique site brings together artists, entrepreneurs, community organizations, researchers, and local residents to imagine and shape the city of tomorrow.
Open to all, Usquare is a dynamic space for exchange, discovery, and experimentation. Through a diverse programme of activities and events, it fosters connections between visitors, neighbourhood communities, and the academic world, while encouraging the sharing of knowledge, resources, and ideas.
More than a temporary occupation, Usquare is a platform for cultural, social, and environmental initiatives. As a hub of civic innovation and urban transformation, it offers an inspiring setting where new ideas can emerge, communities can connect, and creative projects can thrive.
